Subject: Team Update
Hi Everyone,Week two on the Reservation has been extremely busy. We continue to work with the youth at the school. On Thursday they had their Christmas program that they had been working so hard on. Most of the things they did were all their original stuff that they wrote for school. Gift bags are continually packed. In the few days time we have packed about 550 bags. (They are not small bags either) Friday the gang packed 200 some bags alone. We have had two days that we were without power. Since everything here is generated by power things come to a stop until the power is back on.The team is doing well and are all in good spirits. Each one of us is getting involved in different things so sometimes you see someone more then others. We were invited on Thursday to go to a family's home for fry bread. We were told that Navajo's don't invite people to their home and explained to us what an honor it was for us. We had a great time and really enjoyed sharing with the family. We are hoping to continue to deepen the relationship we have with this family. Friday night we helped with the Middle School youth. This group was much smaller then the high school so we played games, did a white elephant gift exchange and then we all came to our house and set up our home movie theater with the projector and speakers. It's been awesome just building relationships here and getting to know the people here. We keep praying that God will continue to use us during this time and that he will open more doors for us to serve and share. Thanks for all your prayers. We miss everyone! Charity & the Team

Luke and Steven have been helpingwith the school here on campus that have about 15 students doing the ACECurriculum. All of them except 4 are high school age.Sara, Megan and Lindsey have been working so hard in the sorting house wherethey are sorting through things that have been donated for the Christmasgift drive they have. Pretty soon they will be putting together the giftsand we will be helping them deliver them.Charity has been manning the clothing house. It is a house full of clothingthat people can come get for free. There is also a pot of coffee on all dayfor those who are in need of a warm pick me up.On Wednesday evening we hosted a skating party for young kids who live in adormitory close bye. It was so much fun watching the kids try to skate andour team teaching them how to skate or helping them. Luke especially was themain attraction that night. He had a flock of followers wherever he went.Friday night we helped with their youth program called Rez Warriors. Wedrove around and picked up most of the youth. We had games and did a readingabout the advent candles. Many of these youth come from very harsh familylifestyles so this evening is a chance for them to have fun and be youth. The team is doing really well. We have spent a lot of time playing games andhanging out with one another in our free time. We really miss Settlers! :-)(except Sara) We have Saturdays as a free day. We shall be heading to Farmington thisafternoon. Thanks for your prayers and continue to pray for open doors to buildrelationships.Charity & The Team

Hey everyone!  Well, we're in New Mexico.  We got here on Tuesday and got settled into our house.  That's right, our house.  We have a house to stay in for while we're here.  Yesterday, we had a skating party for a bunch of kids, and it was a total blast.  There were probably about 30 kids there or so and they just loved it too.  That had roller blades so i was really in my element.  can't talk long, so i have to go.  God bless you guys.  I love you all!

Hey everyone!!! Ok, so here's the deal. I'm still in Cimarron. As i'm sure you read in the last post, i am supposed to be on my way to Thailand by now. Why am i still here? Let me explain...For those of you who don't know, Bangkok airport is closed. Protestors have taken it over and said that they're not going to give up until the Prime Minister of Thailand steps down from power. The Prime Minister effectively took all power away from the King, and some people didn't like it. So yah, because Bangkok airport is closed, we're not going to Thailand just yet. We all prayed about it a bunch and decided that God wants us to go to Navajo land first and Thailand second. So that's what we're going to do. We're leaving tomorrow morning for Navajo Land, and we'll be there about 4 and a half weeks. Then we come back to the base, do the things we need to do (Repack, laundry, etc.) and then we fly out of Montrose for Thailand on January 10. So yah, please be praying that Bangkok Intl opens up before we have to leave for Thailand. Thank you for all your prayers, and i hope to see you all soon. God bless. Smile. Love you all!!!!!
